Jon was, without doubt, the strongest supporter of the Foundation’s Homeless Meal Program, missing only one meal in eight years and then only under direct orders. He was Minda’s right hand cook for the last 5 years, helped to haul the supplies, and served on the line.
He was a key player in the Foundation, not only with the Meal Program, but was the Project Director/President for the SCUVN Program and also the Project Director/Committee Chair for the Buyken Album Collection. With Jon’s new PCS orders, he will be on the Eternal Serving Line, still serving those who served, in his most prized position as the “Marine Left End Guard.”
