Homeless Meal Program - Seattle, Washington

Several times each year the Veterans Service Foundation prepares food at the Athenian Inn Restaurant and puts on a hot & nourishing full meal that is served at the ST. Martin de Porre’s Shelter on Pier 36 in Seattle.

Computer Reallocation Program

This program began in March of 1992, and since then has matched many organizations and persons with free computers. The foundation acts as a clearing house of donations of usable computer equipment which are cross matched to a list of needs submitted to the foundation by various veterans groups, charitable organizations, schools, churches, underserved youth and any person who has contributed significant volunteer work in their communities.

All American Memorial Project

The Traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial’s visit in summer 2001 to Sunset Hills Memorial Park (Bellevue, WA) inspired numerous visitors to leave significant artifacts in memory of their loved ones and friends named on the Memorial. The behavior mirrored the phenomena of the 65,000 items in Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC. Due to the current regulations, we were unable to include the items left at the traveling Vietnam Memorial in that collection. After a meeting of the participating Veterans groups, a consensus was reached to inter the collected items in an appropriate monument.
